Experience:

Selena works in all aspects of family law including parenting matters, property settlements (simple and complex), divorce, financial agreements (including pre-nuptial), child support and mediation. Selena joined the firm from Queensland in 2011 having worked in general practice including, commercial, property, conveyancing, wills and estates. Prior to this she trained with well regarded accredited specialist family lawyers on the East Coast where she worked exclusively in family law for 3 years.

Selena’s approach to family law is to provide an empathetic and compassionate response whilst providing realistic and practical advice. Her aim is to settle her client’s matters in the most efficient and stress free manner, using court litigation as a last resort. She is a strong advocate of dispute resolution where appropriate, including mediation and round table negotiations to settle disputes between parties, with an aim to promoting an amicable and co-operative arrangement.

Selena is currently undertaking training to become a nationally accredited mediator.
