Experience:

Sam works in all areas of family law including property and parenting matters, Binding Financial Agreements, divorce and child support. In particular, Sam has experience and an interest in complex financial matters involving corporate and/or trust structures, farming cases, mining cases, and matters involving potential third party claims.

Sam was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2007, and to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2008. Having gained experience in practice areas including Family, Criminal, Corporate, Tax, Debt Recovery and Insolvency, Sam chose to focus on family law, gaining particular experience dealing with Senior Counsel on complex financial matters involving large asset pools and extensive corporate structures.

Sam is currently undertaking a Masters of Applied Family Law with specific emphasis on financial matters.

Sam is interested in almost all sports and in particular rugby, cricket, golf, fishing and general health and fitness. He is an active member of the Law Society of Western Australia and the Family Law Practitioners Association (FLPA).
