Experience:
Candice is a key member of the Commercial Law division of the firm and has broad
experience in drafting and negotiating a range of commercial transactions including
joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, share sale agreements and exit
agreements.
Candice has particular experience in advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate
restructuring, joint ventures and corporate matters, including ASIC and ASX compliance,
shareholders' agreements, directors' duties and corporate governance.
Candice is experienced in contract negotiations, trade practices law and dispute
resolution and regularly provides strategic and pragmatic advice to clients with
a clear focus on the required outcome.
Candice has a Postgraduate Diploma in Building and Construction Law and specialises
in this area in addition to her other areas of practice. She has assisted in negotiating
and drafting contracts for both contractor and principal clients on numerous small,
medium and large scale construction projects throughout Queensland and WA. Candice
also deals with all aspects of construction law disputes including construction
litigation, adjudications and security for payment claims under the Construction
Contracts Act and regularly appears in the Building Disputes Tribunal.
